The first full day of Program 3 is officially underway, and what a fantastic start it’s been!
After breakfast in college, students headed off to their very first morning of classes. From Medicine and Engineering to Psychology, Business, Literature and more, classrooms across Cambridge were buzzing with curiosity as students began exploring the subjects they’re passionate about.
Following classes, everyone enjoyed some free time to grab lunch and explore Cambridge with their new friends. Whether wandering through Market Square or discovering a favourite café, it was the perfect opportunity to get to know the city a little better.
The afternoon saw students take part in one of Reach Cambridge’s favourite traditions: the Extravaganza! Split into their corridor teams and representing either Team Fire or Team Ice, students followed clues around Cambridge, stopping at famous landmarks to capture the most creative photos they could. There was plenty of teamwork, laughter and friendly competition along the way, and we can’t wait to see the winning entries!
In the evening, everyone gathered for an inspiring drumming workshop with Abass Dodoo. Through rhythm, music and storytelling, students experienced Ghanaian culture while taking part in an energetic and interactive performance that had the whole lecture theatre drumming together.
With the first full day complete, Program 3 is already off to an amazing start. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!
