Summer 2026: Program 3 – Day 8

  • August 12, 2026
  • By Author: Courtney Fowler

Day 8 of Program 3 brought another packed day of creativity, sport and thought-provoking experiences, with students making the most of another summer day in Cambridge!

After morning classes and lunch, students had the chance to choose between getting active with an afternoon of sports or getting creative with some personalised T-shirt and tote bag painting. From friendly competition to colourful designs, there was plenty of opportunity to try something different and spend time with friends.

In the evening, students came together for a screening of H is for Harry, a powerful documentary following Harry, an 11-year-old boy who starts secondary school unable to read or write. The film explores his journey through education, as well as wider questions around opportunity, social mobility and the impact education can have on a young person’s future.

Afterwards, students had the chance to unwind with a choice of Talent Show preparation and jamming or postcard making. With the Talent Show getting closer, there was plenty of excitement as students continued preparing their performances, while others enjoyed a more relaxed and creative evening with friends.

Another busy day complete, Program 3 continues to bring together learning, creativity, friendship and opportunities to explore ideas beyond the classroom. And with the Talent Show just around the corner, we’re already looking forward to seeing what our students have been preparing!
