Day 7 took Program 3 beyond Cambridge, as students headed to London for a day of exploring, museums and plenty of new experiences!
After an early start, everyone travelled to London for a full day in the capital. Students had the chance to choose between three world-famous museums: the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. With everything from dinosaurs and fascinating scientific discoveries to art, design and culture, there was plenty to discover.
After exploring the museums in the morning, students had some free time to grab lunch and explore the area with their friends. In the afternoon, they could choose to continue discovering the museums or enjoy some time outdoors in Hyde Park, making the most of the city and the summer weather.
With so much to see and do, the day was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience another side of the UK while spending time with their friends. From wandering through incredible museum collections to exploring one of the world’s most famous cities, it was certainly a day to remember!
After returning to Cambridge, students had a more relaxed evening with a choice of karaoke or Werewolves. It was the perfect chance to unwind after a busy day and share some of their favourite moments from the excursion.
Another adventure complete! Program 3 has now explored Cambridge, Oxford and London, and there are still plenty more memories to make before the summer comes to an end.
