Today, the students continued with their Global Leadership classes, taking part in either Community Outreach or Economics & Leadership depending on what they had done the day before. The rest of the day was dedicated to our University Enrichment sessions, with the option to attend a Personal Statement Writing workshop in the afternoon - useful for students who are keen to take part in a mock university interview later in the week - and an evening session on Interview Skills.

The evening session covered in depth the three main interview scenarios that students might experience - job interviews, university interviews and media interviews. A highlight of the evening was the supervisors acting out interview scenarios - from the farcically bad job interviews, to realistic Cambridge University interviews, with some very complex Chemistry questions answered in front of our eyes! The students also enjoyed comparing media interviews with Kanye West and Barack Obama, presenting their thoughts on what made each interview good and bad, and the qualities necessary for a successful interview.
