The first day of second week was another fun-packed one here at Reach Cambridge. Following their various classes, the students gathered in front of the Downing College Chapel for the famous Reach photographs! We took a formal photo followed by a funny one (both on sale today, come on down!).

Today was also the start of the Leadership and Architecture workshops. Leadership was a roaring success; the students were engaged from the start and entered into frequent debates. Similarly, the students in Architecture had a terrific time producing impressive drawings, with the intricate use of design.

The students not involved in the two workshops had a choice between Sport and Art Group as the afternoon activity. The sunny weather meant that sports was again a popular choice and, as always, a big success. The Art Group was also very keen to take full advantage of the weather and took their sketching outside; they produced some impressive drawings of Downing College architecture.

To continue the theme of today, the students also enjoyed a lecture on Architecture in the evening.

The day finished with a Personal Statement workshop, in which loads of students keen to apply to university in the future had the opportunity to learn more about a vital part of the process whilst the remaining students indulged in an evening of board games.
