And Programme 1 of 2022 begins! 137 students from all around the globe arrived in Cambridge ready for an action-packed two weeks. We cannot wait to see what new and interesting ideas they will bring to their lessons, and what they will draw from trips to places around the country.
We are based in the beautiful colleges of Downing, Sidney Sussex, and Trinity Hall this summer, all of which we are excited for the students to get to know alongside the rest of the city! After having dinner, the students attended a welcome talk run by our fantastic staff giving an overview of the programme. Sri, our Director of Curriculum told them all about the incredible lessons our teachers have planned, and Programme Coordinators Kasia and Alannah gave them a showcase of the activities they have to look forward to, such as the talent show and fantastic excursions to London, Warwick Castle and Stratford-Upon-Avon.

After the welcome talk, the students played ice breaker games to get to know each other and their supervisors in their corridors, as well as getting an idea of the schedule of the first day of lessons. By the end of the day, all students were raring to go and looking forward to their lessons starting on Monday morning.
