Back, by popular demand - Reach Cambridge Program 2!

Today, we welcomed students new and old onto our second two-week course of the summer. Some students, who had chosen to take a four-week course, remained in the place they can already begin to call home, Fitzwilliam College. They woke up eager to start their new courses, and excited to meet the new students for the second program!

As the new students arrived and got settled into the beautiful college campus, our old-hats (the four-week students) turned up in numbers to greet the new arrivals and show them all the sights of Cambridge (like the ice cream parlours!). A strong sense of community has already formed, and these instant friendships feel like they will last a lifetime.

Fitz in the sun!

After the students ate their first dinner all together in the grand and spacious Dining Hall, they entered the cool auditorium (the AC was very welcome after a glorious day of sun!) for the P2 Welcome Talk. Here, they were welcomed to Cambridge, introduced to their wonderful supervisors, and given a glimpse into all the exciting things they have in store for the next two weeks.

We finished the day with some icebreaker games between students - from using their deductive prowess in "Two Truths and a Lie" to working in teams to figure out the pattern in "The Moon Game". We finally bid each other goodnight, as an exciting day of initial subject classes lies ahead!
