14th July 2016 - what a day for Reach Cambridge! Any notion that things would slow down for the final few days of the program were quickly eradicated this morning, as another packed day was unfurled to the students by the ever-wonderful supervisors.

Afternoon activities consisted of a zesty Zumba lesson by Precious as the angelic sounds of Talent Show prep wafted down from the Music Room. Whilst the supervisors struggled to dance to Beyonce, the students showed off perfect steps.

Tears were shed at the very last Corridor Dinner (many from the supervisors as the reflected on their gluttony...) We also attended the very last lecture in the series, an insightful talk on the world of aeronautics.

Following a swift pit-stop for a glass of water and a breath of fresh air, the climax of the evening was the Talent Show. Up first were the supervisors - the students were in fits of laughter as they watched the staff dancing enthusiastically to Taylor Swift's Shake It Off. Following this, a whole kaleidoscope of acts took to the stage to once again showcase the wide variety of talents here at Reach. The audience were treated to rapping, magic and a well-rehearsed choir.

As I write this blog at the end of the evening, I once again find myself thinking: "What a lovely day at Reach".
