Paris
A Reach Cambridge programme in the UK is a wonderful opportunity to visit continental Europe. We offer students the opportunity to spend three days in Paris over the penultimate weekend of the programme. Our partner travel company, ‘International Friends Ltd’ provides a superb tour: An experienced guide will show you the very best of this fantastic city. Your guide will escort you throughout the trip and will tell you about the places that you see. Take a cruise on the River Seine, walk along the Champs Elysees, and visit the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre (where Amelie was filmed), the Moulin Rouge and the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Once in Paris, all of our travel is by Metro and on foot - we believe that it is better to see Paris for yourself rather than through the window of a bus. You will be accompanied by Reach Cambridge staff.

University Advance
One reason why you might join us in Cambridge is interest in applying to University in one of the cities we visit. We make this easier by offering an insight into the Universities you are particularly interested in. We will ensure (a) face-to-face contact with a member of the University’s admissions department so that you can be certain of what is required for application and (b) a detailed tour of the University’s buildings, facilities and residences.

Young Leaders Programme
The Young Leaders Programme is a one-stop shop for life skills that are essential at University and beyond. In 10 hours spread over several afternoons, the Young Leaders Programme covers the following: Interview Technique, Making a presentation, Power Point, Elevator pitches, Networking, Goal-setting, Working with others, Getting the most from yourself and Career planning.

Community Outreach
Reach Cambridge is proud of its excellent links with local charities. If you would like to earn 10 hours of Community Service over three afternoons to supplement your course, this can be arranged. Please see the ‘Programme Options’ section for details on our Community Service activities. They can be found in ‘The British Experience.’ You will be involved in a project relating to one of our partner charities. It could be maintaining historic statues for the National Trust or helping to supply food at the Cambridge Foodbank. This is a great way to get something extra out of the experience that will help with University applications.
