Supervision:

Reach Cambridge staff supervise students at all times. Obviously, students are given a certain amount of independence and it is up to them to spend this time wisely. Any actions that are perceived by Reach Cambridge staff to endanger a student will result in the student involved being repatriated. Please see Terms & Conditions.

Students have a certain amount of freedom to visit the city at lunchtime and on some evenings. Students are given (a) geographical parameters (b) a deadline for their return to the College (c) instructions that they must remain with at least one other person from the programme at all times when off campus and (d) contact phone numbers for the staff. Curfew every night is at 11pm. Cambridge, being a University town, is a very safe environment.

We issue all students with an emergency contact card that displays all of the relevant telephone numbers. It is compulsory for students leaving the College campus to carry this card.

Flights:

The individual must arrange these separately to arrive in London on the 13th July and depart on the 3rd August. Reach Cambridge arranges transfers from the airport to the Cambridge campus for all students arriving between 7am and 9am. At the end of the programme, Reach Cambridge also arranges transfers for all students departing between 10am and 12pm. YOU MUST FILL IN THE FORM ON YOUR WEBPAGE WITH DETAILS OF YOUR FLIGHT.

Please email us here if these arrival times are absolutely impossible from your location and we will make alternative arrangements.

Help with booking:
We have partnered with WORLDTEK Travel to make booking your flight as easy as possible. If you would like to arrange your flight through WORLDTEK Travel, please call them on:

1-800-243-1723 or 1-203-772-0470

Independent Flights:
If you are arranging independent travel, please let us know of the details as soon as possible. Students arriving outside those times must arrange their own transport (see AirportLynx Taxis). Students arriving independently should aim to arrive between 10am and 12pm. The College must be vacated by 12pm on the departure day.

To play our part in tackling climate change, we have teamed up with Climate Care to offset our greenhouse gas emissions. Climate Care funds projects in sustainable energy and forest restoration to reduce greenhouse gases on our behalf. We encourage our students that will be flying to the UK to offset their carbon emissions.

Insurance:

All students must have individual travel insurance. Details of the policy number should be sent through to Reach Cambridge as soon as they are available. Alternatively, you can source travel insurance at the Travel Insurance Center or by calling +1 866-979-6753 or +1 402-343-3699 and quoting 'Reach Cambridge'.

Payment:

The final deadline for all payments is 15th May. A deposit of £1000 is necessary on application to hold an applicant's place.
